Privacy policy

Carreau · last updated 16 October 2026 (ads in the Android app)

The short version

Carreau itself collects no personal data: no accounts, no analytics, no tracking. The web version (ghorbel37.github.io/carreau) has no ads and sends nothing anywhere. The Android app shows ads from Google AdMob, and Google collects some data to show them, as described below.

What stays on your device

Your settings (sound, music, vibration), best scores, stats, achievements and daily-challenge streak are saved on your device so they are there next time you play. They never leave your device. Uninstalling the app, or clearing its data, deletes them.

Ads in the Android app (Google AdMob)

The app shows banner ads on menu screens, an occasional full-screen ad after a game ends, and video ads you can choose to watch for a second chance. These come from Google AdMob. To show and measure ads, and to prevent fraud, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect:

Google handles this data under its own policies: How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services. In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland the app asks for your consent before personalised ads, and the Privacy choices button on the Stats screen lets you change it. On any Android phone you can reset or delete your advertising ID in Settings › Google › Ads.

Permissions

Carreau does not use your camera, microphone, contacts or files, or your precise location.

Children

Carreau is a game for everyone, but its Android app is aimed at players aged 13 and over because of the ads. Carreau does not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new date.
